Affiliate Marketing – Why?

So, why would anyone want to be an affiliate marketer? Well there are several reasons.

  1. For someone with no product or service of their own to sell it offers an opportunity for them to enter the online marketplace and begin earning an income. They don’t have to invest months researching and creating a product, establishing merchant accounts or dealing with customer support because that is the responsibility of the product vendor.
  2. Another advantage to affiliate marketing is the ability to leverage you time. It’s not a ’9 to 5′ but rather an at your convenience business usually requiring only a few hours per week to operate once you get set up and running.
  3. It can be worked part time to supplement your current income or worked to full time status replacing your job.
  4. Products and services that an affiliate marketer might promote are as endless as peoples interests and needs.
